My birthday and Hunter time

My 30th birthday has arrived whether I am ready or not. Matt and I both got off a little early and we all went to Birmingham to goof around and eat at Mt. Fuji hibachi restaurant. The boys reaction to the cooking is priceless. They laughed and were amazed the whole time.

Somehow I came home with Mario instead of Hunter :-)
Then the next night we went to eat Mexican with my parents and brother. So thankful for my family!
Gage had just woken up and was not ready for pictures. On second thought, he is never ready for pictures. However, this is the best we could get!

I got sent home sick the other day and Hunter has been wanting to go to the Quarry and look at the marble. On our way home from picking him up from school, he and I stopped by for a little bit to let him explore. It was super hot so we didn't get to stay long. However, any little time with him is always fun.

1st day of K3 and 2nd grade

Gage started his first day of K3 at Marble City. This is his first time going to a "school" and is a big adjustment since he has never been to any type of day care or anything. He was not excited at all. Weeks before he got a new superhero bookbag, lunchbox and even new shoes. He was excited until it came close to the first day. He was not happy and really didn't want to go to his class. This picture was the best I could get and he actually telling me "no" :-(

He did pick out his own clothes though. Isn't he cute!?!?

2nd day- atleast he is smiling!
First day of 2nd grade for this fella. I can't believe he is in 2nd grade already. He was ready for school and honestly ready to get back into doing work and seeing his friends. He does great in school and I am excited for him to finally get to where he is "challenged" and learning more things. He makes me proud!

Aren't they cute dressed alike?! This was Gage's 3rd day of his school. He was a little more excited knowing Hunter would be in class all day and that he wasn't "missing out" on anything while he was at his school.

Now his personality comes out!!
After a crazy week of school we decided a ride in the go-kart at Papaw's was a must. Matt made them a path through the grass and the boys rode for hours.
