I can’t believe baseball season has come and passed in the blink of an eye. This year Hunter was on the Washington Nationals team. Matt helped coach this year and what an experience we had. This was  his last year playing t-ball and next year he will be moving on to the pitching machine in the rookie level. On the Nationals, Hunter played first base, second base and short stop. He enjoyed all three positions and played them very well. You can tell that even though his team didn’t practice throughout the seaon, the boy is maturing with his skills. He has learned to listen to the coaches and gathers all of the information he can. By doing this, he was able to make some great plays and earns some outs for his team. His batting was wonderful this year. Everytime he went up to plate he gave it his all!!! He even snatched up some homeruns, rbi’s and grandslams.

Of course his biggest fan was there to cheer him on every game. He first had to get a snow biz to get him going but after it was gone, he was there to cheer his brother on the whole time. Whether or not Hunter was up to bat, Gage would cheer “let’s go Hunter” always. I loved hearing him ask where Hunter was so he could watch him. He is dying to play baseball and cant wait to get “bigger” so that he can. The boy has a heart for sports after watching his big brother!
