We had the honor of attending Brooke Bolton and Nelson Garrett's wedding. It was in the most beautiful barn that I am working on Matt building us. Ha! The boys had a blast running around and dancing. They also looked beyond handsome.

The ceremony was outside the reception area (barn) and the restrooms were outside right by the ceremony area. Of course the doors needed wd-40 and of course my kids needed to use the facility a couple of times during the ceremony. Yes, everyone turned around each time they had to go. It was so embarrassing and I hope to goodness it is not in their wedding video :-(  Gotta always remember the Brannen's. Haha!

Christmas Events

Alex City was holding it's first ever Christmas event this year. We thought we would check it out because the description seemed like so much fun. Boy were we wrong.. 2 mile walk to get to where the activities were and there were so many people that the lines for rides were over an hour or more long. The had areas where they were making smores.. well they ran out of graham crackers so we weren't standing in line to roast a marshmallows. ha! Needless to say we didn't stay very long. The boys did enjoy seeing the live nativity scene, reindeer and playing in the fake snow. Maybe next year it will be better!

The boys loved taking this picture because they got to climb two huge rocks to get to where the sign was. I do whatever I can to get a picture these days.
Hunter was in a Christmas play at church as one of the shepherds. It was precious!! Any play with little kids is always going to be funny. When the kids had to move from one side of the stage to the other.. it was a loud mad house. All of the boys running at one time. Too funny!!

Of course I had to take our annual Christmas picture of the boys in front of the tree. This was taken before we went to the church for a Christmas party for the kids. Taking their picture is getting harder and harder but oh they keep me laughing. Gage complained the whole time because he wanted a cheeseburger and was ready to take a nap (it was 5 pm just to let you know). He wanted to stand or sit right in front of Hunter or ya know do the absolute opposite of what I ask. Hunter has been raised in front of a camera so he knows what to do because he knows the quicker he does  what I ask, the quicker it all stops :-)

This is all gage wanted to do so I figured I might as well roll with it and get whatever pictures I can get.

Fun outside

Fun outside at Mimi and Pops playing soccer. Life with these boys is never dull and it always keeps us on our toes.

My blue eyed cuties!!

Matt teaching Hunter some technique.. maybe soccer related. haha! I am sure Hunter is taking it all in :-)

Gage's pouting is so funny. I guess he didn't get to do what he wanted. Most of the time now he will put himself in time out because he knows he is in trouble. It is pitiful. :-(

Just had to share a picture of the boys being silly in Mimi's car. They are truly a mess!!

Also early one morning before Gage woke up, Hunter and I went outside because we found out from Pawpaw that we should be able to see some of the planets shinning bright. The morning before you could see three of them but this particular morning you could only see two. It was the neatest thing and I loved sharing that time with him.

The bright dot is one of the planets. Yes it looks like a star, however in person it was beyond bright. I kept watching for a moment to make sure it wasn't a plane or something but it never moved. There is another one right next to it, I should couldn't capture it with my phone.

Thanksgiving fun

Thanksgiving this year was fun. We enjoyed getting to see and spend time with a majority of our family. We only got to make it to my mothers side for a little bit then Matt's side.

The boys playing outside at my grandmothers house. Gage hasn't had a nap yet and I can't believe he still has energy to run. Where do they store all of it?!!?  Hunter is such a good big brother playing whatever his little brother wants.

Matt had to work the day after Thanksgiving and the whole weekend. So it was a mommy and boys weekend. We enjoyed playing outside and destroying the house!!

These two keep me laughing and pulling my hair out at the same time. Later we went to watch the football game and honestly had to keep them apart because they couldn't stop laughing. But the love between them in unmeasurable. Between Hunters crazy antics and Gage's stories about sharks being in the ocean.. it is never a dull moment.

My darn computer turns some of my pictures and will not let me flip them but LOOK WHO LOST THEIR FIRST TOOTH! His tooth has been needing to come out for a while now, so much so.. the adult tooth was already through. So honestly it doesn't look like he lost a tooth. But we are so proud still!!!!
