Gator and Go-Kart

Matt always had a Go-Kart growing up and so it was only fitting that the boys have one too. I know Matt made some great memories that I hope the boys will also have. The boys were lucky enough to be given one by a family friend plus a great motor from another friend. A little tinkering and some paint and it was good to go! All the boys have had a great weekend working on it and riding the Gator on "breaks" ha! The pictures uploaded all jumpled and out of order so please excuse the mess...

Love those boys to death. Gage never complains if Hunter is in control.. he honestly sits back and trust anything he does. Scares me to death sometimes but they have survived so far!

Brother love...poor Gage!! Hunter honestly is a wonderful big brother and I hope they stay this close always.

Those boy were ready to ride....

Poor guy wanted back in the Go-Kart so bad.. he stood there so patiently!

Makes my heart melt....

Haha I can only picture them in about 11 years or so and Hunter taking Gage "riding". Oh gosh Hunter will be driving in 11 years... time please slow down!

Before I started my new job the four of us decided to take our first family vacation just the four of us. We went to Pigeon Forge, TN where we ended up spending most of our time at Dollywood. We went to park Thursday after 3 so that we could go the whole day Friday for free. Well we went Friday and it ended up raining after lunch so we got a rain check and went back Saturday before we left to go home. It worked out perfectly!!! So 3 days for the price of one!

No trip is complete without a trip to Cracker Barrel and of course, you have to get a toy!

Before we went to the park Thursday we went a rode Go-Karts and played at the Arcade for a little bit.

Love that sneaky look on his face...
Hunter was excited that he got to ride again.. we forgot to tell him it was a buy one get one free day!

First day at Dollywood and he got to drive me around in a classic car. I feel blessed that I was the first girl he drove around :-)

Even Gage got to drive!

I was thankful that there were rides that even Gage (and lucky me) got to ride on. I hated for him to miss out on some of the fun by riding in the stroller.
Aren't they just the sweetest...

Got to ride my favorite.. the swings!

Yes this was just one slice of pizza! I was floored and almost ate all of it all by myself but I'll be honest.. Matt had to help me out a little bit!
Hunter's favorite ride.. the sky rider...
This is a ride where it is pretty much like water wars. You squirt the people behind the fence and they squirt you. We rode it once and got soaked (Gage was not thrilled and was ready to get off) so the next time I told convinced Hunter to try standing behind the fence and he enjoyed that just as much.
I think Matt enjoyed it too :-)

They were not thrilled that it started to rain one day :-(

Overall we had a wonderful first trip and I can't wait for our next vacation and continue making memories. Love my 3 men to pieces!!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most amazing Dad and Husband ever! The boys and I are beyond blessed to have Matt in our lives. He is a very gentle-giant who loves us and does everything for us. He is the true backbone of the family and we honestly don't know what we would do without him. I couldn't ask for a better God-fearing example for my boys to follow. I pray they grow up to be just like him and understand that their Daddy loves them more than anything!

I have probably already shared this but still love Hunter's questionnaire that he filled out in school about Matt. :-)

Last day at State Farm

It's bittersweet but I have been with State Farm for 8 years. When I started I was still attending Junior College and planning a wedding. Now married, two kids and a Bachelors Degree later I am now moving on. These girls and Albia have become family. Gosh when you spend 8 hours a day together you are bound to be pretty close. I will be moving on to Blue Bell working under the plant manager and human resource manager. This is a good step for me and allows me to use my skills I obtained through my degree. I'm going to be this group and I am sure I will be visiting them again during my lunch breaks ;-)
