Spring is finally here

Goodbye Winter and Hello Spring! I never thought I would be so ready for a new season but this year has been a crazy cold winter. After spending the afternoon celebrating our friends' daughters, Gabby and Katherine's, birthday we spent the rest of the day soaking up the sun. Love my boys and I know they have missed being outside just as much as I have.

His Mimi just bought him two brand new toys from the store and he chose to play with the box they came in and my keys. Love it!

These two brothers love eachother to death.. Hunter has been the best big brother ever

Now the true relationship. Gage is the mischievous second he is sweet and the next he is messing with Hunter or one of us. He is a true mess!

Those poor legs. Hunter refuses to learn to ride a bike so at school they have tricycles and a lot of the boys just ride the bikes with their feet on the ground and walk around with the bike. The pedals hit his poor legs every time. Me personally I would either stop or learn to ride a bike but nope.. boys will be boys!
 Love my sweet family!

Birthday Party

What the yummiest party around? Milk and Cookies that is!! I was definitely the most delicious party yet :-) We had it at my Dad and Teresa's house as usual. They are such wonderful hosts and without their help and my Mom's help I would have been a stressed mommy. Thankfully everything was fine and I think Gage fully enjoyed himself. So much so that he fell asleep as soon as he got in his new car seat!

Mrs. Paula made Gage the cutest shirt in town!!
When Hunter gets to my dad's he completely disappears. He goes to Collin's room, grabs a toy gun and heads outside to play. Love it!!
 Family photo time!!
Not too happy about being in the high chair. Doesn't want to be confined unless he truly knows he is about to eat.
Face changed once he saw the cake and candle!

 Present time....

Unfortunately yes it took two MEN to put this toy together.. haha!

Dr. Seuss week

At Hunter's school they celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by dressing up for the week. The first day was mixed up day where they could wear their clothes backwards, inside out or however.

Could he look more thrilled to be taking a picture? ha

Second day was hat day! There is that handsome smile :-)

Wednesday was silly socks day...

Thursday was wear green and he wore a green polo shirt. However I didn't get a picture because it was Gage's birthday and we were rushed to get presents opened and get to the restaurant to eat supper. I promise he looked handsome though!

Friday was crazy hair day. This one was tough.. Hunter does not like his hair messed up so after mentioning it a bunch he finally agreed to let me do his hair. His thick hair was hard to do but we did it!!

Hunter is doing great at school. We are still working on his letters.. his teacher says he is a perfectionist who also doubts some of his decisions. He knows the letters but questions them at the last minute OR either he is just messing with the teacher. It could be both.. he is a perfectionist which we are trying to work on but he gets it honestly. He also likes to mess with people so who knows. However, he can read the words big, can, away, a, and. We are working on the next set of sight words next week. He loves to learn and is such a bright little boy. His teacher actually says he is one of the smartest kids in his classroom. He always has the best behavior and is one of the "example" kids that the teacher brags on his behavior all the time. He must take after his daddy :-)

Happy 1st Birthday Gage!

I can't believe it has been a year since I was 9 months pregnant with Gage and feeling HUGE! This year has flown by and I was warned that with two kids it will fly by even quicker and boy were they right. You are so distracted with every day things and events that you seem to miss all the time in between. However, Gage has brought so much joy to our family and has truly made it completely. I do remember that life was a lot quieter without him but I wouldn't trade it for the world. He is a nosey little thing that has to make sure everyone hears him at all times :-)
