10 Months and Ice Cream

Look who is 10 months old and who is pulling up and trying to stand all by himself! Please excuse his pawpaw look of no pants with black high socks and shoes :-) It's the easiest way he can get around on the hardwood floor. He is so proud of himself and looks around making sure we saw him pull up. He is soo alert and into everything. I used to think Hunter made a mess in the house but gosh it is Gage. I can clean up everything and the next minute he has every single thing in the house pulled out and pulls it out the loudest way possibly.. ha! He is happy so that's all that matters I guess.

My mom and I were off on MLK day so we thought what better way to celebrate a day off than going to Blue Bell to get some ice cream. Hunter has been begging to go but they were closed for a little bit to rennovating. Gage just got introduced to ice cream and boy does he love it. Actually so far he has chosen vanilla over chocolate and likes strawberry. Hunter loves the Krazy Kolors one at Blue Bell... it is a mixture of red, yellow and blue. He loves that it makes his tongue turn colors :-)

Gage's Dedication

"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him." Psalm 127:3

Today we celebrated Gage's baby dedication at Grace Baptist church. We are honored to be his parent's and are thankful to take on the task of raising Gage and Hunter to be Godly men who love the Lord with all of their heart. We love our church and know that they will help us in any way possible to make sure those boys are raised right.

Hunter is used to dancing or singing every time he gets on stage so we were really scared on how he would behave but he did wonderful and we couldn't be more proud of him and his behavior.

Our attempt at a family picture even though Gage was asleep ;-) There was just too much excitement that wore him out!

Monster Jam

On the way back home from Tennessee Matt, Hunter and I went to the Monster Truck Show. This was Hunter's first experience and I do say he had a blast. At first I don't think he knew what to expect but once the trucks came out he was pumped up (well that and cotton candy.. ha). Our seats were awesome.. 2nd row!!! We got to see Monster Trucks, ATV races, dirt bikes and normal bicycles doing tricks. It was fun spending time just the three of us.. can't wait to be able to enjoy it with all three of my men!

These were some of the trucks that were at the show. He was however disappointed that Monster Mutt wasn't there but he got over it quick. We would love to go to Atlanta one day and see all of those trucks.

Hunter's favorite!

New Years Eve we headed to Fayetteville, TN to Matt's brother, Shane's, cabin on the farm so the men can go hunting. We stayed 4 nights and 3 nights and boy was it cold; it literally was between 11 to 20 degrees every day with the wind blowing also. OUCH! It rained some too so Hunter and Gage stayed in the cabin along with their cousins most of the time because we didn't want those poor babies to get sick. Gage had a blast learning to explore more and get into everything in the world!

Elainah and Hunter eating breakfast or lunch.. not sure because they stayed in pjs most of the time ;-)
Sweet Ava was such a big helper!!
We got tired of being stuck in the cabin for so long that we had to bundle up and get outside sometimes. We had to get out and run a little bit...

and even shoot a little....
Our redneck shooting target. ha!
There was only one bathroom so we decided to put the boys in the tub together. They were both thrilled to death and had a blast. I have a feeling this is going to be a normal thing for them two.
