After school Hunter and I painted pumpkins. Yes I should introduce him to carving a pumpkin but this was the easiest right now and to where he can participate. He loved it!
He decided to be a doctor for halloween. He went back and forth between a policeman, fireman and a doctor. He wanted to make sure that it came with the jacket and hat. He had "scrubs" and was able to wear the top but the pants were huge so I convinced him that real doctors where whatever pants they want. After his daddy confirmed he believed me. I honestly think he chose doctor so he can wear scrubs like his daddy does. I think it was sweet!
Little Booger was a bull just like Hunter was at this age.
They had a Halloween festival at school. They started with a parade so all the parents could see them in their finest costumes, then it was off to their classrooms for a party with cupcakes and etc. After that the kids went outside for a festival of games that the parents conducted for them and the teachers. I think he had a blast. He got to be the line leader that day so he was pretty much on cloud 9 for the beginning.
Daddy and Gage at the parade!
I promise he loves me taking pictures of him :-) The boy sitting beside him is Tyler, that is his best friend at school.
Hunter and Kinley eating their treats...
Some of the kids in his classroom. I brought my good camera which was wrong for upclose pictures with no room to back up because I was not able to get all the kids in one picture.
At school Hunter and his classmates had a special surprise from a fireman. What better way to welcome the fireman than to wear a fireman shirt!?! He said the fireman talked to them about emergency stuff and that's all he will say.. ha! He does keep going around asking us what we are supposed to dial if there is an emergency. He is excited to know you are supposed to dial 911. The fact that he keeps grabbing our phones and acting like he is dialing it is concerning to us at times because soon he won't be pretending. I'm sure he won't be the first child but we are telling him that you don't really dial it unless it is a true emergency.
He also found a new pet for a day.. a lizard. But it ended up not being just one lizard but 4!! Matt and I were proud of him because he usually won't even touch a bug or anything but he gladly grabbed these lizards and became pretty attached to them.
We had to have a soccer team party to celebrate the hard work and fun times that we had as the Green Team! Of course it was hard to get a picture of everyone all together and have them all look at the camera at the same time. Honestly, at this age you just do the best you can :-)
This little cutie was super proud of his trophy!
We had a wonderful season and can't wait until next year... now on to ALL STARS!!!!
Hunter decided that he wanted to play soccer this year for the Rec Center in town. He had never played on a real team before but had played in the yard with Matt and I so I knew he would do great. His coach was Joey Fleaman. However, while dropping Hunter off for preschool, his teacher (which is Joey's wife) appointed me as assistant coach. It was a lot of fun helping coach the kids and getting to know them and their parents. He did great at practices but was a little hesitant at first during the games. It's a big difference and a new experience but after the 3rd game or so he was definitely getting the hang of it. He even scored a goal!! He did great and we are so proud of him!
He was always running after the ball. I honestly think he slept better at night after games and than he ever has before. It was wonderful!!
He even got to throw the ball in a couple of times...
Since I stood and helped the goalie a lot then Hunter decided he wanted to try that position. All though he had never practiced it before he did great and listened very well.
This little booger even came to the games and cheered on his big brother!
A few of his buddies on his team were James, Ross, Brayden and Rhett

Matt and I were married in August of 2006. We had a first child, Hunter, in May 2009. In March of 2013 we were blessed with our second son, Gage. They are the best things that have happened to us! We thank God for all of our blessings, without him we could not make it through each day.
