Baby Story Continued

It killed me but we had to wait a couple of days before we could tell our parents that they were going to be grandparents again. We had to wait because Hunter’s “Big Bro” shirt was not in yet. It was not until later that I was told that you can go to the hospital and get one at any time. Oh well... live and learn! The grandparents got to the house before we could get Hunter out of the bath and dressed. He was more excited about them being at our house than the actual announcement. Thankfully before he goes dashing into the living room I was able to slip his shirt on. He was a little shocked as to why everyone was reacting with excitement when all he did was run out of the room. Of course my mom “knew”.. can’t hide anything from your momma. And Matt’s mom “knew”. We really have to invite the parents over for dinner more because they each asked if we were pregnant when we invited them.. of course we told a little white lie and said no in a way of “how dare you ask me that..we just want to eat” haha! My dad on the other hand was clueless, even as he read the shirt. The sweet ol’ guy thought we just wanted to eat with him.. I love his innocence! On top of the baby #2 announcement we got to announce that Matt got a job at Russell Medical Center starting August 13th. So two reasons to celebrate! I am so proud of Matt for all of the hard work he has put into school, passing his boards, and putting up with us. Putting up with us is a full time job within itself so he basically did 2 full time jobs :-) Back to baby.. Hunter is still warming up to the idea of a baby brother or sister. He still has the only child syndrome though. He doesn’t like the idea of sharing but he is growing to the idea of having someone else to ride his gator with him and jump on his trampoline. However I honestly think in his mind this baby is going to come out as a 3 year old ( I am about to die just thinking about that) and doesn’t think it will be a little baby that is going to have to grow a little before he or she can jump on the trampoline. I am excited to see what the future holds and where we are going to put everything!
