Friday Hunter didn't want to go to VBS and Matt had to take his mom to the doctor for a follow up and we really didn't want to take Hunter to the doctor... thankfully my mom was off of work and gladly said that she would keep him. I didn't drop Hunter off by her house but I am sure he was beyond thrilled to be going to Mimi and Pops. Once he is over there is takes all we can to convince him to come home. Mom and Hunter met me for lunch at the Mexican place and we had a blast eating chips and salsa (his favorite) and coloring! Then he got to go to the park... When I got off work I too him some clothes so he could spend the night. Matt and I were going to have to get up early the next morning to take Sara, Luke and Taylor (our nieces and nephew) to see their dad who was at Brookwood in ICU. He had to have surgery Saturday morning and we just hated for Hunter to have to hang around the hospital possibly all day long. I brought him some toys to play with but especially his bubble blower, he loves anything that involves water or bubbles! When I got there Mimi had let him play with her older digital camera... He did pretty good after a little practice. You can tell his first pictures because he little finger kept getting in the way of the actual picture. Mimi said he was doing good because he had a lot of practice watching us take soooo many pictures of him :-)

Over the past 3 years since Matt has been in school our family has experienced so many blessing from Above. Long story short...When Matt and I were first married for some odd reason we were not like normal newlyweds and spent money like crazy.. we saved, but never had a "reason" or a "thing" we were saving for. It seems that God had already been laying his plan in our life right then. When Matt started school we knew my income alone would pay for the bills but not food and gas but we had our savings that we just so happened to have accumulated. Over the next few years we experienced so many blessings that God has given us. I am not saying that it has been easy but he has showed us His will and path for our life the whole time. Then one day we talked about wanting a swing set for Hunter...we patiently waited and didn't go spend money but planned that when Matt got through with school we would get one. Then Mrs. Cathy was giving hers away and thought of us to give it to. What a blessing! Before Hunter's birthday in May we talked about getting him a trampoline.. we were going to see if the grandparents wanted to go in with us to get him one. I prayed about it and knew it just wasn't time. Little did I know it wasn't His "time". Our old music minister left our church a year or so ago and left his trampoline behind. Our new music minister moved into his house and didn't have a need for the trampoline. He told Matt's Dad last Sunday that we were more than welcome to it. WHAT!?! Matt and I sat back that night in amazement at how much God provides. When I think about it I can't help but smile. I hope Hunter reads this one day and sees how God has worked His will in our life and provided not only the things we needed but allowed us to have some entertainment too! The night we got the trampoline it rained.. As soon as we got it put together it started pouring down raining. Once it stopped thundering and lightning I let him go and jump. I remember jumping on mine when I was little when it was raining and it was so much fun having the water splash around. Here are some of the pictures from the first and second day on the trampoline..Please excuse the fact that he is in his underwear each time. The first night he had on khaki shorts and I didn't want them ruined then the second night he had been painting :-) Vacation Bible School is this week and Hunter loves it..we asked him Monday morning if he wanted to go and he shot right out of bed and wanted to leave right then. He was all excited! However, when he got there they had promoted him from his normal room during church and last years VBS.. this boy does not like change and he did not like this. He would go to the big boy room and all of sudden the teachers would find him in the baby room. He came home and told me that he is now a baby and he does not want to be a big boy! :-) Not sure what I am going to do when he starts preschool.. I have a feeling the first few days or weeks are going to be tough :-( All in all he has had a blast and allowed me to take 2 pictures and that was it he said.
